• LOCATION: Bandarawela, Sri Lanka
  • PROJECT: Girls’ Education and Hygiene Project
  • DIRECTOR: Micho and Steffni Anthony
  • FINANCIAL GOAL: $6,000 annual costs for toiletries and hygiene supplies

In rural Sri Lanka, many girls drop out of school and never retrun simply because their parents cannot afford to give them feminine hygiene supplies. The Mordecai Project stepped in to avert this crisis. Each year we supply more than 300 girls with sanitary pads and other toiletry items so the girls can remain in class and finish their courses. And our directors, Micho and Steffni Anthony, also provide discipleship classes and Bible resources so the girls can begin following Jesus. We hope one day to help these girls go to college so they can make a difference in their society!
