  • DIRECTOR: Pastor Berrings and Grace Mlambya
  • FINANCIAL GOAL: $5,000 annual food costs and supplies

Women in Tanzania are often raped and then abandoned. That means they end up with children to feed and no financial support. We want to provide these vulnerable women a place to heal and to learn skills so they can feed their families. We are working with Pastor Berrings and Grace Mlambya to operate this vital ministry.

In 2018 Lee Grady visited Pastor Berrings Mlambya, and he shares his burden for abused women because there are so many in Tanzania. We have been able to provide food for many underprivileged women in his community during the pandemic. In 2022 a donor gave us $29,000 to build a shelter for unwed mothers who were trafficked, raped or abused by local men. We later decided to buy an existing building and it is being remodeled. This building was purchased in January 2023. Today the building is being used to house women who have been trafficked or abused, and we are providing vocational training classes for them so they can make a living wage, get healed form their emotional trauma and be discipled in their faith.
